It’s been a while…
February 10th, 2010So, I’ve been so busy with other sites recently that I have somewhat neglected my own. My goal was to redesign meganweatherford.com over the Christmas break but, I opted to paint the bathroom instead. Check out the latest work (including photos of the newly painted bathroom!) below.

New Boat, New Floor
July 16th, 2009It has been a busy week at our house. We decided a few weeks back that we were tearing up the carpet and bringing in new flooring. We ordered it and it was scheduled to arrive last wednesday. On wednesday, as we were waiting for a call from the shipping company, my husband found a boat, that he was ready to buy.
On Friday, the floor was finally delivered and we bought the boat.
After spending the weekend on the lake, we started the re-flooring monday. It is not finished yet, and it is still pretty dusty, but I am so excited!
Here are some pictures of both….

When Brad and I first moved into our house several years ago, I had a mental list of improvements to make to the newly constructed home as we had the money and time to make them. Items on the list included building a fence, replacing the front door, painting the walls, etc. Somewhere, the overhaul of the nearly lifeless flowerbed in front of our house was listed. I actually started the initiative to add color, height and depth to the flowerbed over a year ago and at one time, considered the project complete. With the onset of spring however, I came back to the conclusion that something was still missing.

Ready or not, here I come
February 10th, 2009I have an announcement: I am entering the blogging world.
Okay, truth be told, I already have a blog or two out there floating in the ether. Actually, to be more precise, I already have a couple of feeble attempts at blogging on the web, where I posted one or two lonely entries and then abandoned the whole thing almost as fast as you can say blogspot.
But those were different. Those were created without any thought behind them, without any forward thinking, without any planning. This, my friends, is a completely new venture.
What sets this one apart? Read the rest of this entry »
